On June 25th, I Light Global turned Panchrukhi, Himachal Pradesh into a vibrant hub of celebration for Global Migrant Children’s Day! This international day recognizes the unique challenges migrant children face and advocates for their well-being. I Light Global’s Panchrukhi branches organized various events across the community, bringing migrant children to the forefront.

- At Andretta: R K Aggarwal from Mumbai and Ward Panch of Andretta Panchayat, Mr. Jaswant Rana.
- At Patti: R K Aggarwal from Mumbai, Retd. Colonel Mr. R M Bharmouria
Andretta Highlights:
- Empowering Activities Across Branches:
- Akash Branch: Led a lively Q&A session, sparking curiosity and critical thinking among the children.
- Green Earth Branch: Filled the air with melodious songs and vibrant Pahdi Nati cultural performances, celebrating heritage and fostering a sense of community.
- Brilliant Future Branch: Dazzled the audience with a captivating dance performance, showcasing the talent and vibrancy of the young participants.
- Pankaj Chaudhary delivered a motivational speech highlighting the power of education as a tool to break down barriers. He spoke to encourage about how dedication to education can uplift the lives of migrant children and empower them to make a positive impact on the world.
- A big shoutout to Mrs. Rekha Dogra, the organizational backbone for many years. She is a true role model for volunteers! Branch heads Sudesh, Ritu, Saroj, Disha, and Indu deserve recognition for supporting the event by organizing activities for the children.
- The day’s festivities at Andretta concluded with a heartwarming cake-cutting ceremony led by the esteemed guest, Mr. R.K. Aggarwal, along with the children.
Patti Event Highlights:
- The celebration included lively performances by the children themselves! The stage came alive with solo songs tackling themes of education and cultural heritage. Encouraging unity and diversity, children recited poems together, while others delivered short, heartfelt speeches about their own experiences and the value of education. The event culminated in a vibrant display of traditional and modern dance performances.
- Retd. Colonel Bharmouria ji’s heartfelt speech resonated with the audience, highlighting the challenges faced by migrant children, particularly in education. But the day wasn’t just about raising awareness – it was about celebrating childhood! The Colonel’s heartwarming children’s songs and patriotic renditions had everyone smiling.
- Mr. R.K. Aggarwal joined the musical merriment with two beautiful songs dedicated to children, and the energy just kept rising!
- Karan Pardesi, a renowned music teacher at St. Paul School, Palampur, captivated the audience with his performance. The day concluded with a soulful gazal by Karan, a beautiful dedication to Mr. Aggarwal. Following this heartfelt tribute, the event culminated in a rousing rendition of the National Anthem, led by the ever-talented Mr. Karan Sir.
- Guest of Honor was awarded to guests by event organizers.
- Performance Awards and Momentos were distributed to children by organizers and guests of the event.
